プライドを捨てて形振り構わなくなった晴人が兄との練習をしたがり盗めるものは盗む気満々で挑む
気に入った兵藤が晴人に大喜攻略のヒントをやると言い出す
千夏の試合は一進一退の攻防真っ最中
針生は千夏が最高にかっこいい姿を見せてくれてると持ち上げ次は大喜の番今年もIH行くように押した

ところがその翌日準々決勝で栄明が敗れ千夏は引退することとなった
翌日大喜は寂しいなんて思ってる暇は無いと朝早く体育館に向かうがそこにはいつもと変わらぬ千夏の姿
習慣で目が覚めたのと大喜にどうしても言っておきたいことがあったらしく笑顔で大喜に話す

Hyoudou, impressed by Haruto’s attitude, decided to give him a hint on how to defeat Taiki.
Meanwhile, Chinatsu’s match was in the midst of an intense back-and-forth battle.
Haryuu praised Chinatsu, saying she was showing her coolest side, and then turned to Taiki, pushing him forward, telling him it was his turn next and that they should aim for the Inter-High again this year.
A flashback sequence followed, revealing the emotions of both Taiki and Chinatsu. Then, with a decisive move, Chinatsu secured the victory for Eimei.
As Chinatsu smiled, a tearful Karen hugged her tightly, followed by Yumeka joining in.
However, the next day, in the quarterfinals, Eimei was defeated, marking Chinatsu’s retirement from competition.
The following morning, Taiki, determined not to waste time feeling lonely, headed to the gym early—only to find Chinatsu there, just like always.
She explained with a smile that she had woken up out of habit and that there was something she absolutely had to tell him.
“Inomata Taiki-kun, make it to the Inter-High!”
